This 10-day unit is designed using Wit and Wisdom's 7th grade curriculum. The unit introduces the novel The Midwife's Apprentice and engages students in activities that teach literary analysis, narrative writing, speech fluency, and more.

Students analyze the concept through both modern and classic resources, the movie The Hunger Games and the novel Jane Eyre.
